The Ki in Kiccessories

Kiara Parks found her love for accessories at 22 years old. She noticed a jewelry display at her job at the time and immediately became a customer. Kiara found herself purchasing handbags, jewelry and other items for herself, friends and family until one day the display mysteriously disappeared. This is where she saw an opportunity. Kiara went home that day and buried herself in research for months. “I wanted to sell things I liked and I just hoped others would like them too.” says Kiara. She started out  with jewelry and while it did not prove to be the success she would have hoped for. It put her right where she is today. While feeling discouraged, she was not defeated; she looked into other accessories and introduced what is now known as the company’s best seller, “Dope Shades”. Eventually she was being recognized as “the girl with the shades'” and that is truly where Kiccessories was born.

While Kiccessories may have gotten off to a rocky start, Kiara refused to let anything hold her back. Kiara continued to study the art of accessories and quickly learned the importance of a good accessory piece. While accessories can give you a whole new look it can also  give you a whole new feeling. “When wearing  Kiccessories, I want my #Kuties to feel fabulous, confident and beautiful. Creating the perfect look can be expensive but with Kiccessories your budget will never be a problem. " Kiara assures. Kiara soon realized that she could create the same looks found in high end fashion for far less without compromising the quality, so she did just that. “I always consider what I would want to pay for an item. So I price my items where my #Kuties don’t have to pay high prices to look high end.”

"As Kiccessories continues to grow and expand we’ll add even more pieces to our inventory. Kiccessories will soon have our very own store front where local #Kuties can stop by and shop at their leisure. We’ll also be reintroducing our brand ambassador and sales representative programs giving Kiccessories the nationwide recognition it deserves.” Kiara projects.

“While I began my entrepreneurship journey uncertain, discouraged yet ambitious, I hope to encourage the next generation to never give up, if something isn’t working, if your merch isn’t selling, find a way to make it work. Figure out what your community needs and supply it. I have  wanted to quit so many times but I just wouldn’t. I continued to try new approaches until I found what fits me as an entrepreneur and what works for my customers and the rest is history.” says Kiara.
